Moretonhampstead Development Trust has helped to form various organisations, some of which are now independent. This includes Moretonhampstead Information Centre, Moretonhampstead Association for Youth, and NEDCare. Although they are independent, we still work closely together with them and with a number of other local organisations, which are listed below. Many of these are through Wellmoor and/or Green Hill Arts.

The Trust’s key focus areas include, but are not limited to, health and well-being, arts and heritage, environmental sustainability, affordable housing, and local economy support.     NEDCare

    NEDcare is an award-winning charity that provides community-based care across North-East Dartmoor. NEDcare delivers personalised care to ensure that clients get the right support for their needs.

  • Moretonhampstead Parish Council

    Moretonhampstead Parish Council

    The Trust and the Parish Council work closely together on local projects and have recently, in response to the climate crisis, collaborated to form a carbon reduction group.

    Moretonhampstead Primary School

    The Primary School has worked with the Trust on various projects including a wildflower exhibition at Green Hill Art gallery and a healthy eating scheme for school children.

    Coppelia Residential Home

    The Trust has worked with Coppelia Residential Home on various health and well being projects for its members.

    Moretonhampstead Health Centre

    The Trust has worked with the Health Centre on health and wellbeing projects including the fantastic Art Raft group.

  • Moretonhampstead Association for Youth

    The Youth Association was set up to provide facilities and support for young people in the community. Currently they run the local youth club call the Yard, which operates out of the Green Hill building.
